We are looking for a Network Administrator to work for our client in a very attractive US location.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for the daily operations and management of the company's International voice and data networking environment. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of existing Nortel, Riverstone, Newbridge, and Cisco equipment, as well as future networking equipment.

Experience as primary Telco contact for all voice and data lines – installations and troubleshooting of Pots lines, E&M tielines, frame relay circuits, IPLC circuits, and ATM circuits.

• Experience with in-house wiring – cat 5, fiber.
• Working knowledge of Nortel PBX’s and Companion Wireless systems
• Hands-on experience in configuring networking devices, including but not limited to: Cisco 2600, 3600 and 7500 series modular routers. Cisco Catalyst 6500 series switches, both standard switch and IOS-style commands, with MSM/MSFC features. Riverstone 8600 routers. Knowledgeable in network security issues – including CiscoSecure.

  Real-world experience with Distributed Sniffers, CiscoWorks, Solarwinds, and miscellaneous diagnostic equipment.

• Fluent in TCP/IP internetworking, including LAN and WAN environments.
• Real-world experience with EIGRP and OSPF
• CCIE highly desirable
• Exposure to firewalls a plus.
